Analyzed the sales organization to identify training needs and management system requirements and assist in raising the overall standards of performance. Worked with Senior Management to develop and implement the "Effective Distributor Management" training program which introduced the structured processes and disciplines resulting in a significant increase in sales performance.


Hiram Walker & Sons, Inc.

Reorganization & Training System Creation
Completed sales organization systems and training needs assessment of the three spirits companies in early 1991 making recommendations regarding job definitions, descriptions and structure to be set forth, management systems to be implemented and management development activities required to support the new Hiram Walker & Sons, Inc. field organization. Program implementation is currently in the third phase of the management development program. Content and skill development focus has covered the following areas:

Planning & Development of Region Marketing Program
Selected to participate as a member of the steering committee to develop a five year strategic plan for the organization. Participated in the formulation and implementation of a "regional marketing" concept to include organization structure realignment, personnel selection, cross-functional planning process and training.
